2. Data we collect
We collect (a) account data such as your name, mobile, email, date of birth, gender and city; (b) professional data including education, experience, machines operated, languages and expected salary; (c) employer data such as GSTIN, company name, address and contact person; (d) usage data including device, IP, pages viewed and search activity; and (e) optional documents you upload such as resume, education certificates and government ID.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to operate the platform, match seekers with relevant employers, verify employer GSTINs, send job alerts and transactional emails, prevent fraud and spam, generate GST invoices for paid plans, and comply with Indian law. We never sell your data.
4. Sharing your data
Profile details are shared with employers only when you apply to a job or when an employer unlocks your contact under a paid plan. We use trusted processors (hosting, email, payments) bound by confidentiality. We disclose data to authorities only when required by law.
5. Your rights under the DPDP Act 2023
You have the right to access, correct, update and erase your personal data, withdraw consent, nominate someone to exercise rights on your behalf, and file grievances. Most actions are available in Settings. For other requests, write to support@packprojobs.com.
6. Data retention
Active account data is retained while your account is open. On deletion request, personal data is removed within 72 hours, except where retention is required by law (e.g. GST invoices for 8 years).
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and routine security reviews. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong password and do not share your OTP with anyone.
8. Children
PackPro Jobs is for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies for login and analytics cookies to improve the product. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
10. Grievance Officer
As required by India's DPDP Act 2023 and the IT Rules 2021, our Grievance Officer is reachable at support@packprojobs.com. We respond within 30 days.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app banner.
